Judith started her art career in N.Y.C. as a member of IATSE, The Screen Cartoonist Local Union.
Working with director, Richard Williams, she was an assistant animator on the feature, Raggedy Ann & Andy.
Working with director, Mordechai Gerstein at Perpetual Motion Studios, she was a staff artist for the TV movies representing the brands, Strawberry Shortcake and Berenstain Bears.
Working with director Jack Zander, at Zanders Animation Parlor, she was a staff artist on the Gnomes TV movie as well as TV commercials with clients such as Crest, Welches, Twinkees, Kool-Aid, Ajax, and Pepto Bismal and more.
1990-1995 she worked for Longman Publishers illustrating textbooks, raising her family in Massachusetts.
The Institute for Responsible Technology featured Judith’s cartoons for their documentary, Your Milk on Drugs—Just Say No.
2009 and 2010 ADDY Award Winner with the Grasshorse Animation team!
Judith co-wrote the screenplay for, The Tom Mule Show, another Grasshorse production, and worked as an animator on the project.
2010 Highlights Foundation writer’s grant.
2012 Highlights Foundation screenwriter’s grant.
2012 - Judith released an animated Political Parody inspired by the 2012 election season, IF I WERE MITT ROMNEY.
2013 Way Off Broadway theater company - Design and animate the dragon for the company’s production of Shreck.
2014 Second Place, Inkfingerz Writing contest, middle grade fiction, Tsunami Dog.
2013, 2018 Judith exhibited in the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators Group Art Show
2021-2022 - Mentoring with Academy Award nominated screen writer, Tab Murphy. (Gorillas in the Mist, Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame, Tarzan, Atlantis, Brother Bear, etc.)
Presently, Judith works as owner of Hans Price Studio producing cartoons and illustrations for books, magazines, and commercial clients.

GRANTS AND AWARDS
—Smithsonian Museum Judith was honored by President Reagan to design artwork for the White House and can be currently viewed in the permanent collection.
—A.D.D.Y. Award Judith won the 2009 and 2010 ADDY Award Winner with the Grasshorse Animation team!
2010 ADDY in the ‘Best of Television Category’, for the animated commercial, Rest of Your Life, for East Texas Medical Center. Judith did the sheep’s character design and co-animated. 2009 ADDY for the Award winning commercial for Skelanimals, Photo Shoot, with the Grasshorse Animation team. Judith created the concept and the storyboards.
—Highlights Foundation Judith won two Highlights Foundation grants. In 2010, a grant to attend the Writers Workshop at Chautauqua and again in 2012, to attend, Screenwriting for Children and wrote the screenplay, 'Whisper of the Tigress', an animated adventure.
